Alert Policies List

The Alert Policies page displays all configured policies.

Columns

  • Account — Owner of the policy
  • Channel — Notification type (Email, Webhook, etc.)
  • Host — Monitors assigned to the policy
  • Destination — Where alerts are sent
  • Min Failures — Number of failures required to trigger alerts
  • Cooldown — Time before alerts can be sent again
  • Enabled — Whether the policy is active

Channels

Alert policies support different notification channels:

  • Email — Send alerts to an email address
  • Webhook — Send alerts to an external system

Why Alert Policies Matter

Without an alert policy:

  • Incidents will still be created
  • But no notifications will be sent
