Alert Policies

Alert policies control how and when notifications are sent when issues occur.

Each monitor can have one or more alert policies assigned to it.

How Alerting Works

When a monitor fails:

1. The system tracks consecutive failures
2. If the failure threshold is reached, an alert is triggered
3. Notifications are sent to configured destinations
4. A cooldown period prevents repeated alerts
