Quick Start

Get up and running with Ninja Uptime in just a few minutes.


Step 1: Create a Target

Navigate to Monitoring → Targets and click Add Target.

Enter:

  • The URL you want to monitor
  • Check interval
  • Timeout
  • Expected status code

Save your target to begin monitoring immediately.


Step 2: Configure Alerts

To be notified of issues:

  1. Go to Alerts → Alert Groups
  2. Create an alert group
  3. Add your target to the group
  4. Configure alert rules

Once configured, alerts will trigger automatically when issues are detected.


Step 3: Monitor Status

After setup:

  • View real-time status on the dashboard
  • Check target health and response data
  • Review incidents when issues occur

Step 4 (Optional): Create a Status Page

You can share system status publicly:

  1. Go to Status Pages
  2. Create a new page
  3. Add targets to display
  4. Share the link with users

You're Done

Your monitoring is now active.

Ninja Uptime will continue checking your targets and notifying you of any issues.
