Incidents

Incidents represent service disruptions or issues detected by monitors.

They are automatically created when a check fails and resolved when the issue clears.


Incident List

The Incidents page provides a centralized view of all incidents.

Columns

  • Target – The affected service or endpoint
  • Account – Associated account
  • Type – Type of issue
    • Downtime
    • SSL Expired
    • SSL Expiring
  • Status
    • Open – Issue is ongoing
    • Resolved – Issue has been fixed
  • Opened – When the incident started
  • Closed – When the incident was resolved

Incident Types

Incidents are categorized based on the failure:

  • Downtime – Service is unreachable or failing checks
  • SSL Expiring – Certificate is nearing expiration
  • SSL Expired – Certificate has expired

Status Indicators

  • 🔴 Open – Active issue requiring attention
  • 🟢 Resolved – Issue has been fixed

Filtering & Navigation

  • View incidents across all targets
  • Drill down into a specific incident using View

Monitor-Level Incidents

Each monitor also has its own incident view.

You can:

  • Navigate from a monitor → Incidents tab
  • See incidents specific to that target

Lifecycle

  1. Monitor detects failure
  2. Incident is created (Open)
  3. Alerts are triggered
  4. Issue is resolved
  5. Incident is closed (Resolved)
