Visibility & Access

Control who can view your status pages.


Page Visibility

Each status page can be:

Public

  • Accessible without login
  • Ideal for customer-facing status pages

Private

  • Requires login to view
  • Access is restricted to invited users

Changing Visibility

  1. Open a status page
  2. Go to Visibility
  3. Toggle between:
    • Public
    • Private

Changes are saved automatically.


Private Page Access

When a page is private, you can control who can view it.


Inviting Viewers

  1. Click Invite viewer
  2. Enter an email address

Behavior

  • Existing users → immediate access
  • New users → receive an invitation email

Managing Viewers

You can:

  • View all current viewers
  • Remove access at any time

Removing Access

Click Remove next to a user.

⚠️ This immediately revokes access.
